Recruiting: Be Part of Our 2025–2026 Global Education PhD Network (GPEDU)

?? About GPEDU – Global PhD Network in Education
GPEDU started with a simple goal: to build the kind of peer support system many of us wished we had when starting our journey abroad. Graduate research can be isolating—especially for international, first-generation, or cross-cultural scholars. That’s why GPEDU exists: to connect, support, and empower students globally. While we primarily serve postgraduate researchers (PGRs), we also warmly welcome undergraduate students who are interested in international education and academic collaboration.

Founded in summer 2024, GPEDU is a UK-registered, student-led non-profit community that has grown to 400+ PhD students from over 129 universities across 25+ countries, including the UK, US, China, India, and beyond. Our activities have reached 5,000+ students, and we’ve built a strong online presence with 2,300+ followers across LinkedIn, WeChat, Red Note, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

?? What We Do
? Peer-led monthly workshops on publishing, careers, AI, mental health, and more
? A cross-border “Study Partner Matching” scheme
? Monthly Online Writing Retreats for shared accountability
? Annual international student conferences

?? Our Recognition

?? New Society Award – Winner (Students' Union Awards 2025)
?? Academic Community Building - Highly Commended Award 2025
?? Volunteer of the Year – Highly Commended (Student Group)
??? Make a Difference Award – Commended (Social Responsibility)
